The Hunting Farm Maroela is situated in Northern Namibia, 390km north of Windhoek and
180km South of the Etoscha - National - Park, in the Otavi district. The hunting area amounts to 8 200ha, where the vegetation is the
typical northern Namibian bush and tree savannah.

You will be transfered to and from the International Airport outside Windhoek by State approved hunting guide -Bernhard Sack.

Hunting season:
1 February to 30 November.
- New Moon offers the most success when hunting, as the animals graze by full moon.

We require a down-payment of 500 €. Upon receipt thereof, the booking is valid. The down-payment is not refundable but can be transferred to another person in the case of unforeseen cancellation.

The minimum stay on Maroela is 5 hunting days, if you hunt on Eland we suggest a stay of 9 hunting days. Conditions and dayfees for hunting Leopard and Cheetah are on request. Wounded game is considered dead if it cannot be found despite intensive tracking and is payable in full.

To hunt in Namibia we suggest that you hunt with the following rifle caliber:

On all antelopes: from 3 700 joule
Eland: from 4 800 joule

Our day fees include the following:

- Boarding and lodging as well as laundry service.
- Hunting permit.
- Transfer from and to the international airport Windhoek.
- Sheltering and preliminary preparation of trophies.  

Our day fees does not include:

- Alcohol and carbonized drinks.
- Overnight stay and dinner, if necessary on day of departure.

Day fees include 15% VAT.
