| Hunting Farm Maroela is situated 390km North of Windhoek and 180km South of the Etosha National Park (Northwest of Otavi) - in Namibia. Your hosts Bernhard and Marianne Sack, both master hunting guides will take you on an adventures hunt and thereafter will give you the opportunity to go on a tailor-made tour throughout Namibia. We also offer day tours to interesting places and towns, in close proximity of the farm or to the Etosha National Park. |
| Hunting takes place on a range of 8,200ha, in the typical Bush and Tree Svannah of Namibia. The hunt is suitable to elderly people as well, as we mostly do hunting from the blind. We also would like to welcome Female and First Time hunters as well. Hunting season at Maroela is from 1 April until 30 November each year, during the phase of the new moon. Please consider our best suitable hunting dates - listed below. |

After an adventurous day, you can relax with a glass of matured South African wine, while your hosts prepare dinner. Wintertime will be cozy next to the fireplace in the dining room or your will have the opportunity to enjoy the bright Namibian stars.Fair chase will give you the opportunity to hunt on matured animals, which gives you the chance to take home a bronze, silver or gold medal trophy. Your minimum stay at Maroela (to have a successful hunt) is 5 (five) hunting days. If you want to hunt Eland - you should stay for 9 (nine) hunting days.The conditions for Leopard and Cheetah hunt - Available on Request.
The game that is hunted at Maroela, is utilized on the farm and wounded game is considered dead if it is not found after sound and thorough tracking and therefore it is fully payable.
Only two animals of a Species are allowed to be hunted.
Guests not hunting can enjoy farm life, endure hiking or just relax under the Acacia trees. |
| Field preparations of your trophies will be done free of charge, by our trained staff and thereafter we will ship it to your home country by a shipper or courier of your choice. Namibia also provide good taxidermists - it would be your choice. |

Maroela has two double rooms and one single room available and we accommodate only three hunters at a time and only one group knowing each other. Your friends and family are most welcome and it is our pleasure to make your African country your adventure.
Our day fees include full-board, your overnight stay at Maroela on the day of arrival, if we fetch you from the airport, VAT as well as laundry services. Alcoholic drinks or beverages are available on choice - however not included in the day fee.
A down payment of U$ 700.00 confirms your booking and will be considered if the final payment is done.
